Does anyone know if there are any service bullitins for 2004 GT Vibes?I have tried 5 times over the past 3 months to register my Vibe with GM's owners site and it will not accept my VIN number + Address even though they match up to the paperwork provided to me from the dealer. I have sent in 3 emails to GM support to find out why I can not register my Vibe. Anyone else have this problem. I am taking my Vibe into the local dealership to have the 1st maintenance done on it and I wanted to have them search for service bullitins that needed to be performed on my car. However I wanted to go with my own list first so I knew what issues they should be finding in their database.
The inability to register your VIN appears to be a bug in the OwnerLink system.I just called their customer service number, they asked me to fax a copy of my registration verifying I owned the car, and then they manually added my VIN in for me.Very helpful folks. 5 minutes on the phone and they fixed my problem!Give 'em a call!
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
Do they charge to get this info from TSB? Like to get the info first hand before the car goes to the dealer. Service Bulletin Num : 020137006 EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:AIR CONDITIONER.Service Bulletin Num : 01458 POWER TRAIN. I keep getting this error when I try to do the Doc search........ I wouldn't bother. I quit using it when it kept telling me that maintenance items were overdue. Right now it lists this:Engine Accessory Drive Belt Inspection | Past Due Interval: At 60000 miles (or 48 months, whichever occurs first) then every 15000 miles (or 12 months, whichever occurs first) Next due at: 60000 milesNext due date: 10/7/2003 I have (according to the site) 16072 miles. How is this over due? I have about 15 things that are overdue. All of them are erroneous like the example above.
The bulletin for the a/c was for adjusting the cable on an 03.It doesn't come up in the regular technical bulletins for an 04.The other one is a preliminary information bulletin about a snap/click noise in the front axle when shifting.
