Test drove one of these the other day for $11,9Very nice I loved it, I used to have a Camaro and I loved that one too. They actually gave me a good trade in but I had to think about it cause I'm not sure about giving my car up. I like the Firebirds too but they seem more "bulkier" than Camaros..
I think the newer generation of Camaros and Firebirds cost too much I would never be able to afford them so I don't think abuot it. i definately do like Camaros better though what year did you have?
I had a 95 Silver Camaro, It had the T-Tops..Great System, Over 130,000 miles on it and still ran flawless.. Loved it. Wouldn't hesitate to buy a new one although I do like the older TA's.
I had a '99 Z-28 6-spd. Loved the car but didn't really drive it that much as I also had an '01 ZR2 4x4 pickup. I decided I really didn't need two vehicles with the resulting high insurance bills, taxes, maintainence, etc. I sold both of them and replaced them with my Matrix.
XRS 6-speed, Cosmic Blue, 17's, AEM Short Ram, Hidden Hitch
No, Not my house...I can afford to get a newer generation used Camaro I'm just leery of getting one and wishing I would have waited til I found a used Vibe for that price. Which I doubt will happen.I have a question for anyone who knows about MPG...A V6 Camaro gets better Highway MPG than my 4cyl Sunfire? Why?

Also, the Camaro should be much more aerodynamic and therefore has to overcome less force from wind resistance. Also, the 3.4L V6 in the Camaro will have to rev much lower at highway speeds than the 2.whatever L engine in the Sunfire, again, usually due to the gearing. The two cars should also be similar in weight, so combine that with the other aspects I mentioned and it is possible to get better fuel economy with the Camaro on the highway.

This weekend I'm going to look at a variety of cars. Two 99' Camaros, One is a baby blue color, and the other is a taupe but it's a Z28 LT1. I've going to check out the new Sunfire's and a used Vibe that's way overpriced. We'll see what happens.
Sorry, not a Camaro fan here. My mom drove a '79 Pontiac Firebird, Esprit Edition. That was the car I learned to drive in....my love is with the Firebirds.
Just because you see Charlie doesn't mean I am a he....sometimes Charlie can be a she!!!!
Yeah since Firebirds and Camaros are the same, I still like them both just I really don't like pop-up headlights. Plus the newer F-Bird's are really bulkier than Camaros.
