Crazy Friday Night in Ottawa

I had bought this print for my parents for Christmas and had to go pick it up last night at the St Laurent Mall. All was pretty uneventful aside from the mad crowd of shoppers at Sears and Canadian Tire (both open late yesterday). I got the print, popped it in the back of Sputnik and we left the mall. We're sitting at the light to come out of the Sears parking lot on Coventry, wanting to turn left. The light goes green. Two cars in front go through turning left. We're just entering the intersection to turn left and to the right I see this dark blue Impala speeding right through my intersection against the red! I motion to it and tell my bf to stop! We stop in time and honk our puny Vibe horn at him. He keeps going and passes the cars in front of us on a corner on a solid yellow line! If I had gotten the plate I would have phone that in, but after that I didn't see him again. He must have either been drunk or stolen the car. I've never seen anything like that before.So we get home, I'm all excited about this great gift I got my parents. And then I notice I have a message on the phone. Its my brother. I call him back and he tells me that my dad just bought the exact same print at the store in Kingston! Well I was right in thinking my parents would like the print thats for sure. So now I guess I have my very own Robert Bateman to hang in my living room.

Well sorry to hear that you now have a print you don't need---perhaps they will under the circumstances give you a refund.Now---I'll bet that guy in the Impala never even heard that whimpy horn----------If anyone asks you what you'd like for Christmas,Tell them a real horn for Sputnik.Speaking of Christmas---I am playing Santa for people that bring their pets in at Petsmart for the next several weekends.
