I am still looking for winter tires and here is what i got:i might get the blizzak ws-50 for $135 a piece(ouch)!I also have sen these continental conti premier contact all seasons for like $98 a piece(me likey). will the conts give me reasonable snow traction worth the savings of $140 without giving up too much traction? Also are either of these two tires good summer replacements of the dunlop 9000's i currently have.firestone firehawk sz50cont conti extreme contact?Oh i have 215/50/17
i got blizzaks from tirerack.com, they slapped a piece or cardboard with the address on the bare tire and rim and sent them unpacked. they're a reasonable price, good quality, worked well last winter on slush and heavy snow, they also got me out of icy parking spots....No problems except for that one time i slid down an icy hill....

I just bought Kumho KW 11's for 530.00$ CAN installed taxes in. They have been recommended by my mechanic and by Consumer Reports as a very good winter tire. The size is 205-55-16.Stay away from the Conti's, they are not very good , friend of mine had them for 1 season and sold them!Good luck in your purchase and keep us posted!
