Today driving in the rain I really noticed how poor my headlights are. I managed to save up $35 and instead of using that towards CAI I am going to buy headlights tomorow after school. Which kind would you all recomend? I haveno idea what kind to get...I heard the Silverstars are good. But if you could please tell me the exact model I would need to fit the Vibe and also if you know couild you please tell me how to change them?? thanks alot!!!
I could borrow the rest from my mother until i get paid thursday...What do those lights look like? are those the lights that the Chrysler Pacificas come with?
I have the Silverstars in mine as well. I have to get the bulbs for the fogs now. When you put the Silverstars in, you will definitely notice the difference in the lighing. It is hard to describe, but just like Silver said, they are much whiter and therefore seem to project more light. They are not like the high intensity discharge (HID) light systems that are commonly found on more expensive cars like Audi's, BMW's, and possibly on the Pacifica (I haven't seen a Pacifica at night yet). I have stood in front of my Vibe with both the headlights and the foglights on, and the original equipment fogs look a LOT yellower than the Silverstar headlights.Changing them is pretty easy and it is described in pretty good detail in the owner's manual. Do the passenger side one first, it is a bit easier to change because there is more room to move your hand around. On the driver's side, the battery gets in the way a bit and you have to do some hand gymnastics to change it. At least I did, anyway, but I have fairly wide hands. And just like Silver said, don't touch the glass bulb or you will significantly shorten the life of the bulb.

Yeah...the silverstars are much better and more whiter! They are fairly easy to put in, and I even took out my battery. I bought the fogs too but haven't had time to put them in yet. Good Luck!

I have Silverstar Headlamps and Foglamps and the light difference they make is amazing (Just to agree with everyone else here!)I got everything for under $80 as well, it just helps if you know employees who work for auto-stores and they have employee discounts Today I am picking up the turn-signal/paking light bulbs, a set of those runs ~$20Should be fun
I got the Xenon bulbs from Target for like $20 a pair for both the headlights and teh fog lights. Had them almost a year now and no problems. I like the blueish tint of Xenon better then silverstars.

Yeah I was hoping to find a set of lights with the tint, that's what I meant when I mentioned the pacifica. I'll stop autozone today and see what happens:) Thanks everyone.
My buddy bought something similar to this off e-bay... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...36476 He put them in his '02 Dodge Neon, they look nice! Just a thought!

Incidentally, I saw a commercial on TV for the first time last night for the Silverstars. They show a side by side comparison of OEM headlamps and the Silverstars. Gives you a good idea of the difference and in my opinion, was pretty true to life from what I've experienced with them.
