There are amazing chips out for diesels that add like 200 HP by adding a huge amount of fuel, in order to use all the available air. That's why they smoke like blast furnaces. Also, dumping in tons of nitrous works just like on gasoline engines. Even still, the board showed 11.42 sec. for the quarter! Unless the guy has somehow stripped 2,000 lb out of the truck, he would probably need 700 HP to turn such a speed. Awesome!
I've even seen a set up using nitrous, a chip, and propane gas. The Propane would help reduce the amount of smoke and give better MPG.Check out http://Bullydog.com for trucks.
