Maybe it's just me, but it looks to me that two-tone Shadow and Satellite have a different paint than mono-tones.I mean, the two tone colour doesn't look quite as metalic or shiny, Satellite is particularly obvious two tone Satellite looks gray while monotone looks like the "regular silver colour" with more metalic feeling to it.

I'm 99.99% positive that the paint is the same. It might just appear different because of the cladding. I doubt very much that GM would go through the trouble of unnecessarily making the paint different.

The paint is applied on an assembly line and the cars are all painted the same just parts bolted on in general assembly. the only difference is the weather, there are people checking the paint every day and on humid wet days the paint mix (curing time) will be different that on dry days. I have seen trucks with thin paint but it is so noticable the vehicle never would make it out of the plant.just my $.02
