the weather in Alaska varies so much that you can dig out the extreme cold gear one day and then put it back a couple of days later...this is great! i love it when its warm and snowy...reminds me of those old time christmas cards!
it's almost warm enough here to go swimming today!i don't mind the cold as long as it's not rediculous cold. forcasted highs for monday here are in the 30s coldest i can remember being here is about 0 flat.how cold does it get there?
chew aura pizza cheat main"the world in my hands, there's noone left to hear you scream, noone's there for you"
depends on el nino/el nina/global warming effects....the coldest i have ever seen it was -72*below, with out a wind chill or anything but that was when i was a kid llllloooooonnnnngggggg time ago....in the past 5 years the coldest has been around -50* below....our coldest months are december/january/february....the problem is when we get hit by the "siberian express" it can stay cold (-30* to -45*) for a good solid week to two weeks...believe me when i say that cars and alot of other man made machinery are not meant to operate well or at all at extreme temps for extended periods of time and things like tires, belts and other rubber and plastic start to break and shatter...saturns are cool when they get hit in the extreme cold, their body panels just shatter like a pane of glass LOL! however recently our winter are getting milder and we arent reaching the very lows very often anymore.
well, it's also been pretty warm (for us) here in Eagle River/Anchorage as well. last night it snowed about 4-6" and it made an interesting drive into town today. Feels nice outside, not too cold or too warm... but the Vibe is buried!
If its snowing and 28 above I've got to assume you're talking farenheit! 28 above in Canada would mean shorts and A/C units on! Gotta love the metric system!
