Sputnik, I've looked around for a solution, but I can't seem to come up with anything or duplicate the problem myself. The only suggestion I can make at this point is that if you want the Netscape browser and don't need the extra little features, you might give Mozilla a try. It's at Mozilla.org if you're interested. I'll keep looking and see if I can find why this might be happening though.

YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
OK. A couple of things to try. Check in Edit, Preferences, Navigator, and make certain the History is set for more than 2 days. You might also try creating a new profile. If this is a new installation and not an upgrade, chances are that the profile is not the source of the problem, but it's an option to try anyway. As for the Mozilla/NS debate above, Mozilla is the base for NS. It's not spun off as an open-source browser of its own. It still includes the e-mail client, composer, and IRC client. It is essentially the barebones Netscape or Netscape without all the junk from AOL.
This may be an obvious question, but are you loading it onto a system with the proper operating environment?WindowsOperating Systems Windows 98Windows 98SE (usually this is version b, not A)Windows MEWindows NT 4.0Windows 2000Windows XP Minimum Hardware Pentium 233 MHz64 MB RAM52 MB hard drive space I am going to download the software and see if it does this to me. If it does and I figure out how to solve this, I will let you know.
Just because you see Charlie doesn't mean I am a he....sometimes Charlie can be a she!!!!
