Netscape Problem

Okay I just downloaded Netscape 7.1 and I cannot get the back button to work at all. Its always disabled. Does anyone know how I can fix it?

The only suggestion I can make at this point is that if you want the Netscape browser and don't need the extra little features, you might give Mozilla a try. It's at Mozilla.org if you're interested. OK. A couple of things to try. Check in Edit, Preferences, Navigator, and make certain the History is set for more than 2 days. You might also try creating a new profile. If this is a new installation and not an upgrade, chances are that the profile is not the source of the problem, but it's an option to try anyway.As for the Mozilla/NS debate above, Mozilla is the base for NS. It's not spun off as an open-source browser of its own. It still includes the e-mail client, composer, and IRC client. It is essentially the barebones Netscape or Netscape without all the junk from AOL.
