I read that yesterday. Lets hope there's minimal brain damage. That's a long time w/o oxygen.That's a reminder to us parents...it only takes a couple seconds for something like this to happen.

apparently, she may have been breathing the whole time, the temp of the water must have made it so faint, it was undetectable.

I'm sure that the cold water helped with her survival but I HIGHLY doubt that she was breathing so softly that nobody (even the monitors) didn't notice.I wish that there were more information on this story. I worked in an ER for 8 years and would find it interesting what went on in the rescesitation of this little girl.
