window tint in Quebec

Does anyone know what % of tint is legal in Quebec? I've heard you have to be able to see in but I was wondering if there is an actual % allowed.

It is 70% front (leave 70% of the light coming in) and there's no regulation for the back glass. So you can paint them if you wish.The Vibe come with a 80% tint all around and police won't bother you with your tint if then can see you in the car. Usually, they tolerate 40-50%. I have firend who have 20% all around and they never get pulled over yet for this.

Maybe I am not understanding you correctly, but are you saying Vibes come tinted as stock ?My windows looks untinted.thanks

Oh... okay. So apparently 70% or 80% is a lot lighter than I thought they would be. I was under the impression that my windows are untinted or tinted with 100%. hehe

All cars with AC comes with factory window tinting.Justr crack down a winbdow and you'll see a slight difference.
