I know there is at least ONE other Sarah McLachlan fan on here besides me...you know who you are... But for any others, I heard today Sarah's first single from her new album, entitled "Fallen." It's SPECTACULAR!quote:BILLBOARD DAILY MUSIC NEWS Edited By Jonathan Cohen. September 02, 2003, 11:00 AM ET McLachlan Plots New Album, Tour Following an extended break, Sarah McLachlan is gearing up for a busy fall and 2004. "Fallen," the first single from her as-yet-untitled next Arista album, was released to North American radio outlets yesterday (Sept. 1). A commercial single will follow in the coming weeks, with the album expected in November. For the first time since 1999, McLachlan will "tour extensively" next year in support of the new set, according to her official Web site. The artist has not released a studio album since 1997's "Surfacing," which debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200. Two years later, the live album "Mirrorball" reached No. 3 on the same chart. A remix collection appeared in 2001.McLachlan made her only concert appearance of the year in June at the star-studded Concert for Toronto. -- Jonathan Cohen, N.Y.

Send a letter to Apple -- I know there are a lot of Canadians who aren't happy with Apple's rights arrangement, which is what is preventing you from purchasing music in the store.
I can't use Napster either, or the other one... buymusic.com I think it is. Grr.Anyway for Sarah McLachlan fans she's going to perform on Live with Regis and Kelly this morning.

I can't use Napster either, because they don't have it for the Mac platform. I was going to try out their service, but I guess I won't, since they apparently don't want me. Bad move for business. How do they expect to compete with Apple when they cut out a large part of the people Apple are catering to?

Bad move for business. How do they expect to compete with Apple when they cut out a large part of the people Apple are catering to?I don't think they care about Apple. The market for Apple is so much smaller then for EVERYTHING ELSE. I don't understand apple user's and their love for machines that don't have compatible software programs (I sense the start of a apple vs. pc war here, which is not intended) When the market is so small for apple software, why spend so much money of development when they don't even know how many users will even care.
Edited because this is neither the time nor the place for this discussion...apologies to Mike for hijacking his thread.Pablo, if you have any questions about why I use my Mac, or would like to show me a program I can't find an equal or better companion to, feel free to send me an e-mail at karichelle (at) mac (dot) com.
