Nav System In Canada

Does anybody in Canada have the GPS system? I've been told that the Canadian coverage from these systems is particularly poor. I live in a small BC town too so I'm not sure if it would be much use for me. Can you tell me what it's like if your a Canuck?ThanksGrant

The Canadian city coverage is limited to Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, and their surrounding towns. I do have the GPS in my Vibe and it. However I live in Ottawa.NAVTECH is the company who collects and produces the map data DVD's for GPS systems. For more info you can see there website at:http://www.navtech.comHope this helps.Dave

I went to the Navtech web site, and couldn't find Pontiac or Vibe or Delphi (maker of the nav system) mentioned anywhere! - Earl

Hi Erle:The NAVTECH DVD that came with my GPS is not shown on the NAV Tech Web Site. I don't know how often they update this site. I just wanted to let the Vibe people know where to look should they want or need to make a specific inquiry on this item.Dave
