Post by Merzbow »

HAHA, a few stupid a$$'s at my school are talking trash about my Vibe Very upsetting. I need some cash, so I can get my exhaust and CAI so I can actually back myself up when I say its quik. Maybe buy some lowering springs. Anyways, I just thought I'd share the opinions of my "fellow" classmates

Tell your classmates that you got the Vibe so you had plenty of room with the rear seats folded flat so you could really have a good time with all their girlfriends Tell them Carlie and Sue(insert their girlfriends name) really enjoyed it!

And how many of them are driving brand new cars and not clunckers? And in a couple years who's gonna give a crap about what you drove in high school. It all sounds like Vibe envy, they have to talk you down to make themselves feel/look better. Take your time building up your car so you do it right without any regrets

ignore them, if they think that how cool a person is depends on how fast their car is, they are obviously subintelligent and their opinions have no value.

i hate snooty little turds> "oh my god, he is totally driving last years beamer. that is so one year ago. heeellooo, like, it's almost 2004!"i would probably be considered poor by a lot of people, but i wouldn't want it any other way. more money, more problems. oh, look at my nice couch, i worry about it all day and don't sit on it because it cost as much as a car.

And, also I forgot to mention, I too cannot stand the attitude of the people my age around here either. I cannot go to AMC30 anymore because all those losers that destroy the movies by shouting out stupid coments.I do have a friend with a BMW though...He bought it himself it was only $3000 and it has 250,000miles on it (removed). Would that be considered a clunker? I think it's debatable. Thanks alot for the concern guys I agree...I'll simply buy mods as I get money that way when the time comes I will have done everything correctly and may win any races that may be staged.

Merz,If you want a fast car save your money and in a few years get a Supercharged Cobra. Been out of high school 20 years and remember the foolish things I've done racing in the streets(had a '73 mach1 and '69 Mach 1 back then). I remember one time i was chasing down a buddy and somehow ended up on someones front lawn through the front of their house.Racing's for the track not the street. If anyone challanges you to a race say sure.......meet me at (insert your local drag racing track facility). Thats the only place to race.Stepping off soap box.

Yeah, but the nearest drag strip is what...2-3 hours away? No ones challenged me yet, I'm the one doing the challenging Though the only cars I've ever raced had atleast 200hp more than me. But back on topic...Speaking of chicks diggin the Vibe, two came up to me and said that it was sweet and they were both pretty damn good looking. I'm going to buy a crotch rocket with my graduation money next year, so that will be my own personal toy. No racing in that though theres no way (removed).

Hey now, what's wrong with the AMC Forum 30?? Compared to other theatres (any of the star theatres) it's 10 times better.Plus Romeo kids weren't that bad back in the day.... well back in the day meaning 1997....

I don't really care I love this car and am very grateful my mother bought it for me and thats all that mattersNo worries here Merz.....You can challenge them to a local Autocross event...obviously the most daunting car there is the new grand prix..but ive raced one of the GTP supercharged grandprix's at the last two autoX events and smoked him big time at both events! I am not a fan of drag racing....i think it has little to prove....handling and driving technique is a different story. The Vibe has an immediate advantage as it is only 2700lbs......weight is your biggest advantage and it makes any power you gain from mods all the more effective. When some dude w/ a big heavy powerful car gets 12hp from a CAI its not really a big change.....when you get 12hp from a CAI....b/c your so light it makes a bigger impact. hmmn...im lookin to shave 200-300lbs off the vibe....i need to be lighter!

Yes, compared to star gratiot anything is better (removed). I was gonna go there one day but didnt trust leaving my car in the lot.AMC is a really nice theater but like someone said...It is very ethnic. alot of albos and calideans hang there...In fact when I went to see 2Fast2Furious on opening night, a little 3 foot tall calidean was talking **** to a 6 foot tall one, and there was a giant gang war including like 30 of them. My two friends and I were sitting on a bench right smack in the middle of the two sides yelling at each other back and forth. Plus Calideans(not to sound rascist or anything) but every single one that I know takes every little comment you to be an offense to their race, so needless to say you must watch what you say to avoid conflict. My cousin goes to this other movie theater...forget what it's called but she says its not like star gratiot (pver run by "thuggin' gangstas") and amc (overrun by immature teens and middle eastern "gangstas")

You'll notice that a lot of the problems talked about in this thread are all teen aged high school kids. God, I was so immature when I was in high school, it's incredible how little things have changed over the last 5 years

Lol, yes I agree. Not to get off topic, but I am doing research in my psychology class about kids and how they end up (maturity) I found out that most theories suggest that kids with siblings tend to be less mature than only childs. Only childs tend to get along well with adults and seek to find more mature friends as well. Where as kids with siblings tend to be alot more competative and immature since they are around kids their whole adlescent(spelling) life. I am an only child and I believe those theories fit well with me. I hate hanging out with kids that do stupid sh*t like throw pennys out windows at people walking, or that get into fights simply because some one called them a name. An example..this girl said "girls mature at around age 14 or so and guys mature around 18" I agreed and this guy next to her with his high intelligence level said: "you're gay, no they don't!" (removed), I dunno about you but that statement proved her theory correct.

You are the youngest then right? Through what I've found, the general personality of the youngest is not as diven to do perfect in everything, alot more layed back and relaxed than the older siblings. They also, when young, tend to find tricky and un-orthodoxed ways of recieving attention. Rather then do something better than their brothers/sisters, they would simply find something to get them into trouble with. Also younger siblings are more creative and have better imaginations since they have to figure out how to compete with the other siblings if they cannot do so physically or what ever else. I'm not sure if these principals hold the same for siblings of oppisite (removed) though.
