Received an email from Alpine

SO I was reading through this old post about Alpine Developments:http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=1113Now, I have read bits and pieces of other threads that said that Alpine had abandoned the project, which ticked me off enough considering how enthusiastic Mr. Belanger was in the emails.quote:Trust me when I say: WE WILL DEVELOP THESE KITS!!!!!!However, I noticed some of those threads were a bit old, so I decided to email them myself to get it straight from the horse's mouth how and if their FI programs for the 2ZZ were coming along. In the original thread from Alpine that dude said he received 75 emails in the space of two days! It's bad enough that all of the companies who say they are going to do this never follow through. But to also say that that there hasn't been any interest? Give me a break.I emailed him back and politely suggested that he might be missing some information about our interest, and copied him on the last email from that Alpine thread, and asked VERY nicely if he could clear up my confusion.Now he's ignoring me@%$# Alpine

i get the same crap when i email companies it helps more if you mention toyota first then all other cars with the 1zz and 2zz mr2 corollas celicas matrixes vibes .one a different note i pick up the latest copy of an import mag and one the stories was one of the car to be at sema a trd turbo mr2 yes its a 1zz with about 8.5psi boost with the fifth injector and piggyback like the supercharger . the turbo spyder is back wheres the new supra.

Stafford Fabrication is heading to sema with a turboed 2zz celica gt-s , and a turboed toyota previa LOL...but besides that , they have their 1zz kit on my car, a matrix, a corrolla(auto), and a celica....and Rick at the matrix site is ready to turbo anyone who wants a kit for the 1zz, I dont know if hounding Alpine is so wonderful,,..who are they anyway...we know they like to talk! but that is all we know...and I agree that the more companies there are, the better...but...if you want to go turbo...you can do it now...and I have 10k miles on the Sf kit now..and its really great!
