quote:With no problems?hmmm.... that will narrow down who can respond... There doesn't appear to be much difference between TRD and Injen at first glance. Maybe they're both close to the threshold of triggering a CEL, but the Injen is far enough away it never (or rarely) happens? As with any hobby, some things you try work and some things don't. I just wish I hadn't been so busy that it took me 4 months to set aside enough time to remove it!

I have had my AEM cai on my car sence december of last year. I see alot of people with cel's with there cai. If this mod is installed properly there should be absolutly no problems. I have also heard of the oil from the filters getting on the air flow hot wire. I can see this happening. If this happens clean the hot wire, the filter and then reoil. Not so much this time!!!! Not trying to say anything about anyones abilitys to install this product but that is the main cause of the cel.

I've had my Injen on since August of last year and haven't had a single issue. What's this issue with CEL? I haven't heard that one yet.

It seems that several members who installed the TRD CAI have had their CEL stay on shortly after installing the CAI.
