2009 Vibe rear wheel bearings

I've searched through GenVibe often and it has been very helpful, thank you all!

This is my first post because after a lot of searching, I'm not finding a ready answer anywhere.

My 2009 Vibe base needs a rear wheel bearing. The shop said they can't find the part and asked if I could do the research. Sure enough, I can't find it either. All parts sites have "front" wheel bearings. None have "rear" bearings. Many had parts under my VIN that just said "bearing", neither front nor back.

I've checked many GM parts sites and also looked under Matrix and Corolla.

Partshawk gave me a clue. For a 2009 Corolla it listed a "Centrix Parts Front and Rear Wheel Bearing 412.44009E." Are the front and rear wheel bearings the same?

I'm ready to visit a GM dealership parts dept, but if a shop couldn't get the right part, will I have better luck?

So, bottom line, can anyone tell me the GM Part# for a 2009 Vibe base rear wheel bearing? Or the equivalent Toyota part#?

Use this site: http://www.japan-parts.eu/toyota/us/2009/matrix# Find the equivalent Toyota vehicle type (AWD/FWD, MT/AT) in the pull-down menus and get the Toyota part number.

You won't be getting just the bearing, but the whole hub.

Welcome to the site.
It is generally a lot easier to find the Toyota number for me.
More searching could come up with he GM part number.

There are MANY online Toyota parts pages - that one is my local dealer.

I Assume you have a FWD non GT.

I am not sure if 2nd gen all have ABS. If not there may be a different unit for ABS / Non-ABS.

You can probably find it cheaper on eBay.
