03-04 headlight housings

Hi! I am wondering if there are any new headlight housings that arent complete garbage, i've tried my luck with the eagle eyes brand too many times, and was wondering if there were any other options, i really dont want to restore another pair. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't know about replacement housings, but I've had good luck with the sylvania restore kit. some hand sanding. Did my truck 2 years ago, it's out in the sun all the time, lenses still look nice and clear

I agree with Joat. Most aftermarket parts are nowhere near the quality of OEM. My 2004 GT @ 195K miles AND sits outside all the time, has faded lenses real bad. I simply hit them with rubbing compound every 6-12 months and they return close to normal, which works for me. I don't bother with the sanding or clear coating process. Just a quick (and I do mean quick) rubbing compound treatment gets me by for now. Let us know what you end up doing.

I have used the 3M, Sylvania and Cerakote kits on Vibe hedlights.
I prefer the Cerakote kit for ease of use and best results.
It happens to be the least expensive also, got mine at Walmart.
The trick is to get the sanding done completely and don't screw up the ONE PASS application of the last step.

Thank you for the replies! I'm going to use the sand and clear method, i feel that it works the best, and since i'm going to get a pair of used headlights anyway, why not put in the extra effort for a better result you know? I just dont get how brands can get away with making such a crap headlight for so long, its a safety thing!

Second the Cerakote product. My wife's 2012 CRV headlights needed replaced but I decided to try this first since it was less than 20 bucks. Just amazing results, so I bought a second kit and did my 05 Vibe headlights too. They look like brand new now. Really easy and no tools, just make sure and follow the instructions. For the money it's absolutely worth a shot before you invest in replacements.
