06' vibe gt mechanical throttle body?

Hey I just bought a 2006 Pontiac vibe GT 6speed, it's idling around 2500 rpms so I was going to replace my throttle body, and after getting the part for it, I went to replace it and realized that my car has a mechanical throttle body, not electronic. But the GT, as far as the internet is concerned, never had a mechanical throttle body. What do I do? Do I put an AWD throttle body in it? Was the engine swapped at some point before I got it? Any advice?
