What happened to my front control arm bushing?

Hey everybody. I took this picture of the bushing on the drivers side lower control arm. I have never seen a bushing look like this before. I know it’s been this way at least for a year and now I’m finally wondering what’s going on. The car seems to drive fine, but this doesn’t look normal at all. Should I be worried?

All control arm bushings eventually wear out. That one, to me, looks like it's barely started. You're probably good for at least a couple more years but inspect it again next year maybe.
