New Vibe!

Hello everyone, a few days ago I got a 2006 Vibe Base, red, with only 117,000kms on it. Very clean frame with virtually no rust, which is impressive as I'm on the Canadian east coast, iykyk lol

Purchased for a grand total of, drumroll please, $3000!

Unfortunately a previous owner had aspirations of being a painter so the visual appearance of it is.. suspicious to say the least. Spraypaint was involved. Some woodscrews holding some trim on. It's sort of ugly unfortunately. Not bad from a distance but bad up close. I will have to figure out how to post photos here.

I previously owned a 2009 Toyota Matrix that I lost to an accident a couple years back, so I am very happy to be back in one of these vehicles! I plan on doing lots of preventative maintenance my self for it over the coming months and will try to keep updated

Welcome! You got a low mileage deal for the price! I can't help with the spray paint but the cosmetic items can be worked through or left as is. I recently purchased a 2008 Vibe and had small items to repair and replace. I would recommend picking up a trim panel kit like the one I purchased:

It was about $15 after tax and came with the trim tools which are helpful to avoid damaging anything further and save time vs a screwdriver. It does not have all of the pins/retainers/clips but I was able to make others work or just purchase those specific ones if needed.
