I was trying to turn my 2004 pontiac vibe on when I turned the key, nothing happened. The key then wouldn't turn for a bit, which I fixed following instructions in the Manuel. Now when I twist the ignition nothing happens, no lights, no sounds, nothing.
Yes, the car is in park.

It sounds like this is a similiar problem to this thread: viewtopic.php?t=48838. I would recommend reading that and trying the steps noted in there.
