Ok guys I found out yesterday that I've gotten some paint chips on the hood. Any suggestions? Not really planning on doing anything about it until next spring.
Short Term, Wax, Wax, Wax or it will rust. Long term, Get some color match paint, clean up the area really well and dab the chips with paint.Preventative, get a bra or hood deflector. I ordered the deflector but the dealer doesn't seem to be getting it, or the freaking car Good luck.

Already had 2 coats of dura-gloss wax on it plus some Megurier's Scratch Remover. Was going to put a third coat on this weekend. As far as the Bra I'm in the same position has yourself. Can't get one from the dealer either. Oh wellThanks for the input
Are the bra's any better today than they were in the early 90's?? I had a Trans Am and installed a bra on it and it really scratched up the paint. Thanks..........Hammer
Only had a bra on my 87 chevy s-10 till a few years ago. Even with wax, it scratched the hell out of the hood and fenders. I really havent seen them used much since the 90's....mabey that says somthin.

I picked up some parts (mud flaps & rain visors things) today and I asked about the bra. They told me I could get one in seven to ten days. Maybe you should check again????
