I was told that my build date was Oct 1st (2 weeks sooner than the first estimate). Apparently it will take 6 weeks from the buil date to arrive. Is this normal?

Well, depending on this issue: http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=1015It could be that long, or longer. I know it takes about 3-4 weeks normally (from previous thread... click here) to get to your dealer from the factory.

I heard on the news this morning that the Fremont plant is currently under work stoppage for lack of parts due to labor dispute out west. Both GM and Toyota are currently suffering under this. Hopefully everyone that is waiting has had their cars shipped otherwise I think you will have a long wait head of ya
