First off, I am new to this forum and I really took a like to it! I didn't know there was a forum just for the Vibe! That Rocks. But heres my problem:Is anyone else having any problems with water leaking under the glovebox? It seemed to start happening when the weather got cold. Everytime I take a hard left turn a stream of water leaks from under the glovebox. I am just a little worried because the engine control system is right there. I took it to the dealership today, they thought it was the air conditioner and would have it back in a couple of hours but now they want to keep it overnight? Any thoughts or ideas?I miss my Vibe! I want it back!
It could be that you have some leaves stuck in the drain fromo the windsheild. They are probably running a water test. Is it water or antifreeze? Is it at NOONAN?? They have excellent service there. I am sure that they will take care of you and the Vibe.
Just here to lend a hand to people who have questions about their Vibe.
Welcome to the forum! They will find the problem, for sure!Oh!And don't listen to drunkenvibe. He is our joke maker, our little cloun! That's why we love him
This is probably not a serious problem. Or maybe it is. It sounds like A/C drain tube may be plugged, or maybe it isn't. You may have a water leak somewhere, where the sealer was not properly applied. Or maybe it isn't that either. Does it happen after the A/C has been running continuously for a while, or during and after a good rain or car wash? Your dealer should be able to diagnose and fix this problem, or maybe they won't.
Yeah I took it to MORAN in Southfield. They said it was probally the A/C, I haven't had the A/C on in a while though, and I not sure if it rained that much to leak like it was. But only a certified tech will know the real answer. Thanks
