If I had the money, I'd bee seriously considering this. I really like the new designs for Caddys. They are heading in the right direction. I think Pontiac (with the Vibe and Grand Prix) is also. Wish I could say the same for Buick and Chevy.
To me it's OK at best. I can't get over knowing that it's just a re-badged Trailblazer, which makes it to much like my last vehicle, a ZR2 blazer - and I'm still VERY sore about how much that thing cost me. Quality BAD!Also, I got to drive a new GMC Envoy (same thing, again re-badged) for about 300 interstate / city miles. That thing handled like a wet dish rag. I almost gave myself motion sickness!BTW, I feared buying a Vibe thinking I would be getting some more of that GM quality, until I raised the hood and saw Toyota. It's all good now.

As the others said, SRX is not on the Trailblazer platform, but the CTS platform, which will also be the platform for the '05 STS. The SRX with Magnetic Ride Control is supposed to be an amazing ride for any vehicle, let alone a crossover SUV. They put that technology in the new XLR as well. Can't wait to test drive either one with it.
I think that it is a wonderful vehicle. I like it much more then the Pacifica! If I could afford to drive it, I definitely would. However, I am still financing my last large vehicle and will not be getting anything new for another 4 years. By then, the Vibe should have 150k miles on it, and the Yukon XL will be paid.

My thoughts...Cadilacs suck(except for XLR) not worth the money in my opinion. Could get a beatiful '69 Charger for that. Or if you wanted an everyday car, you could buy a nice new Chevy Suburban. Those are sharp

Those are sharpyeah, but in a 69 charger, you roll your own windows up, the car won't talk to you, the handling will be not even close, i'm sure the air would suck (removed), etc...like 'em or not, caddies do have an appeal when it comes to comfort intertwined with performance

Take a test drive in a new Deville/Lexus400/BMW7series and all of the other comparable vehicles. The Deville and the Lexus are above the others. The Lincolns do not even come close. They ride nice but trying to drive one is a horrible experience. Of course I am biased but I am also privy to being able to drive the competition before I give imput on new products.
Just here to lend a hand to people who have questions about their Vibe.

Before these where officially introduced, I saw one from Michigan in Austintown area of Ohio. Not really knowing what it was, I ran home and checked it out on the net. Seeing it in person, I was really awe struck as the car was beautiful especially the aggressive stance and the dual exhaust peeking out the back. If I was in the market and had the money, this would be my first choice.
northstar in an overgrown cts...coolif anyone is wondering what the little square cover in the front and rear bumper are for,you take the cover off and screw a threaded eyelet in there to pull it out of a ditch(or whatever it's stuck in)
I must say that at first, I thought that this was going to be a great looking vehicle and my family was considering purchasing one once them came out. However, we had only seen the prototype/concept pics. We went to our local dealer once they got one in and when we drove up it was sitting out front. I looked at my friend driving and said "How did GM f**k this one up from concept to production." The front is not too bad, but the back looks like a bloated station wagon with way-to-shape edges. And then I looked at the price tag. It was loaded with the V8 adn it had a price tag over 53,000 dollars. That is way over priced considering you can by an Escalade for 56,000, which is what my family is probably going to do. The Escalade looks better, is more comfortable, and mainly, it is not (removed)-ugly like the CTS. GM Said that they wanted to compete with the Lexus, Acura, and BMW, yet they made a SUV that is uglier than it's competetion in a car category where looks matter. People do not buy a Acura, Lexus, BMW or Merecedes because it is a good car are the inside. Half teh reason people buy those cars is for the image. When you pay 50,000+ for a car, it better look like it cost 50,000 Dollars

YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
