winter rim paint job

Post by meathead333 »

ok so i will be putting the stealies on soon for winter. i recently painted the black rim flat black(trying to get that gun metal color). now, i am thinking mybe theyd look better glossy like they use to be. i bought chrome lugs and chrome air stem tips for them. what do you all think? flat black or glossy black??

hmm. good question, meat. i honestly don't think it'll matter much. black steelies are just ugly any way you look at them. i thought about painting mine red or chrome just for kicks. if i had to choose, then i'd go with glossy black to match the chrome lugs and valve stems.

i thought aobut getting some of those wheel covers, but they are like $50 and i'm not spending another $50 for ugly wheel covers too!

Now I regret painting my rims black, although the glossy black does look good. Nice silver rims would look much better.
