Seat covers

Post by jmarlowe »

Anyone had experience with the Vibe seat covers... the all weather ones? I have fading and spots on my seats that won't come off ... and I've had the seats shampooed etc.Any suggesstions? Anyone have any good seat covers they purchased... if so... from where? Are the all weather covers offered by GM any good? Are they exact fit... or are they cheap? Please email your reply to jmarlow1@nycap.rr.com in addition to posting your reply... the seats are driving me nuts... so the sooner I can get them covered the better!!!! Thanks for your help!!!

I have the nylon ones offered by Pontiac. They're ok. They fit perfectly, though you can't use the pocket or tabletop when they're installed. They are also only available for the front seat. No rear seat covers. They're kinda uncomfortable in summer though, you stick to them if it's hot. Good for use when it's raining or coming from the pool, to keep seats dry.No experience here with aftermarket ones.
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

I just had a pretty bad experience buying seat covers from ebay: http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=6249 My suggestion, save up the money and get the good ones. Because the "cheap" ones are REALLY bad.
