Error Code P2770: Torque Converter Clutch Circuit High

Post by JPark »

Anybody have any experience with Error Code P2770: Torque Converter Clutch Circuit High? I got it on my 2009 Vibe GT today, as well as a warning light for traction control and TCS won’t turn on.

When the CEL comes on for the 09-10 Vibes, the whole darn christmas tree lights up.

I would probably start with a simple drain and fill of the trans fluid to see if that helps clear the code. Odds are it's never been done (nothin' against you, just most people don't do it!)

Change out the filter and clean the bottom of the pan along with the oil change. Be sure to use the proper fluid for your transmission. If that does not work, you can read this and the last post: https://www.rav4world.com/threads/p2770 ... gh.290365/.
