I have done the same, replaced the metal box with a nice 4 channel amp while keeping the stock harness and adaptors for the OE amp. Not fun let me tell ya, I think I got it ll right. It didn't write any of it down but I will look at it tomorrow evening and post my findings if it hasn't already been done by then. A word of caution though, if you have the 6 speaker set up in your Vibe you may not want to amplify them. I just figured out today that my tweeters weren't working. Turns out, they are wired seperately from the front coax!! So I hunted down the wires and hooked 'em up. I am pushing approx 75W to them using a X-over (these are the mids and tweets, the subs do the good work ). Well, I lost the passenger side tweeter within 5 minutes. Seems, since they are wired seperately from the mids, the only X-over built in is a cheesy little capasitor, which doesn't quite cut it. I have been doing this crap for 12 years and never once have I lost a factory speaker accidentally! I guess I am no worse off now then when I didn't have them hooked up!! J

OK, here goes. I do not know 100% that this is correct but, all of my speakers are in phase so it has go to be somewhat correct. On the Light Grey connector, with the letter "A" on top left:Front Passenger Front Driver+ Light Green - Blue + Pink - PurpleRear Driver+ Yellow - BlackThose are the only speaker connections off of this plug. The plug that is Blue and Lt Grey, and the text should be facing the normal direction (make sense?) All of these are on the bottom row.Tweeter Passenger Tweeter Driver Rear Passenger + Brown - Green/white + Red/white - Blue/white + White - RedI hope this helps...
