I am wondering if I may impose on all of the Quebec Vibers' for a few moments. My wife and I are coming to Quebec City for the weekend in mid november and are trying to get things get things set up now. Any local suggestions on where to stay, eat, and play would be geatly appreciated. thanks in advance.
Holy smoke... thank you to every one how put in their two cents worth. I really do appreciate that you took time out of your day to hook me up with all of this great info. I know that we have planned most of our time in Quebec from the advice that you all gave us. Cheers
Just another quick suggestion. Bring all your 'Canadian Tire Money'. It is widely accepted as legal tender anywhere in Quebec City. Leave home without your American Express card.
Don't forget to stop in at La Normandin for pizza and poutine. Pizza in Quebec is pretty amazing. They add so many toppings that you have to use a fork and knife. The Montmorency falls is quite nice, but I hear that they charge admission now. There's also the Ste Anne falls.Enjoy your trip!

Just got back from one of the best weekends i have had in a loooooong time. Thanks to every one for their imput as to where to go, what to do etc.My wife and i were thinking that it would be great to get a few fellow Viber's together and go out there again in the summer '04. Beautiful place for a meet, and the roads into the mountains would be great for a driving gathering. If anyone will be travellnig to Quebec City, please take the recommendation of Salsa! and now myself and stay at the Auberge de la Grande Ourse. It is fantastic, and Paul (the co-owner) is in love with the Vibe.
Quote, originally posted by Salsa! »Yes Paul was amazed at the Vibe's features and looks..... He asked a lot of questions when we went there early October. I bet that next time we go there, they will have a Vibe..... well I hope so!!!May be Paul can get us a Vibe owner discount???
He was telling me that his was reallly looking at getting one, but has to wait for his lease to be up first.Salsa, I would think that a few nights free would be in order since you did take the time to show him your car.
not sure, but i know it is not too far away, within the next year at least. They were tellnig me that there is a big Jeep jambore there every year, So I figure that we should all get together for a weekend of 'vibing in the summer of '04
