fireworks car!

Post by Merzbow »

Holy cow, Saturday night on the way to get chinese with my girlfriend and some other friends, I noticed this flashing extravaganza to my righ tin a parking lot. I see a black 98 firebird with dragon decals on the side and solid cteel wheels with little tiny slits in them. Heres the fun part...This thing had so many neons on it it looked like (removed) forth of july in the general facinity it was in...strobe neon green underbody kit, green neon liscense frame, strobe interrior blue and green lights, strobe blue fog lights strobe green driving lights. This thing was more lit up than my christmas tree. And all this on firebird...muscle cars look horrible with neons. And the completely Ironic thing is that it was parked in the EXCACT SAME PARKING LOT I GOT PULLED OVER IN for my single, non-strobe red underbody kit.......Tell me that isn't retarded...

I notice you say he was parked, and you were probably driving.

Buy one of those 22cal rubber bullet guns and have a field day. Damn shame to have alot of broken glass in a parking lot with neon colors. Pimp mobile with drug money. I guess since it was drug money he could not buy a house with it.

Are you really advocating use of violence because some one over decorated their car, or saying that anyone with neon lights on their car is a drug pusher?

OK slow down before someone gets hurt. Gangsta rap and neon lights does not make a drug dealer. Just makes a wonderful stereo type for violence. Do not get me wrong. Neon lights for a show car done tastefully are a highlight to the art of the automobile. To stereo type someone for what they drive is a bad thing. It is just like when a woman wears a short skirt and her breast hang out. It is an attention getter. Hey look at me, not caring whether or not it is a positive or negative response. Not much brains behind the bulbs is what I should have said. Violent remarks by me were not necessary. Just thinking out loud. It would be fun to shooot out those lights, because they are annoying. I do not mind the thump thump while driving down a main street. When they do that in a residential section that is when I react. I would never shoot/damage/scratch anyone's vehicle. I have respect no matter what my opinion is of it. I have seen some poop, driven some poop. Driving something poopy if it is by choice then they are already suffering and do not need any help from me.

Well, you know what you meant, but maybe what you wrote was more readily interpreted differently. Just like when you tell me to "slow down before someone gets hurt." If I was a sensitive person in a vulnerable mood, I'd take that as some kind of threat. I'm not, and didn't, but you see what I mean.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Anyway, sounds like the car was quite a spectacle. Too bad Merzbow didn't get a pic, or better yet, a video of the thing. I wouldn't want that stuff on my car, but it must have been something to see. I think it's funny (sorry Merzbow) and ironic that it was in the same place he got the ticket.

I love to drive around with the bass thumping too...I have the bass on +6 and the treble and midrange both in the negatives.

You'll still get all the bass from +6, and you'll be able to hear the rest of the music too.

I can hear the rest of the music just fine as it is. When I get the midrange and treble too high, sharp drum beats start hurting my ears. I'm strange like that,

Wehn I listen to normal music I put bass-1, treble-6, and mid-2.......but when I want good bass I put treble-6, Bass-3 or 4, and mid-0 anything higher than 4 on bass sounds crappy.....but yes that car was indeed wild and The guy wooks in that complex, so Next time Im cruising Ill take a quick snap and drive away if Im lucky enough to see it with its christmas lights on.

Ah, yeah...my bass is awesome with the moon and tunes. My stock stereo in my GMC truck really sucked, bass-wise. Distorted and nasty. But the moon and tunes amp is awesome...well worth the cash, IMHO.

No problems! It is a pain though sometimes to have to wordsmith a post to make sure that it can't be taken the wrong way. Did you ever see that Monster Garage where they didn't meet the objective, and then Jesse used some sort of gatling gun thing to blow the crap out of it? It did look like fun.

what brand of subs do you have??? I originally wanted 2 12" audiobahn "Sound-Q's"(reason being because I listen to gabber and hardcore industrial and they have real fast and low bass tones....thus what the "Sound-Q" subwoofer specializes in) and a 800watt audibahn intake amp. But unless my friend can get me a deal on them I will be getting 3-10" and the 1200 watt installed, wired, and boxed with neons for $250 exactly.

I know just where to hit em. I always go for the $40 for 3 deal.

i listen to anything from head banging crazyness to hits from the '70's to rap. i never turn my amp off, they sound good no matter what kind of music. i hate those systems that are too powerful and you cant listen to rock w/the subs on because it sounds like (removed)

Yeah I love van halen led zepplin and white snake, but I also love Funker Vogt, Diesel Boy and Gabber. Thats why I want a switch, so I can listen to my rock and hardcore metal. I can't stand rap though...unless its old school rap from like before 1995. Everything new is so anoying, all they "talk" about is 22" rims and escalades...which is why I am now anti-cadilac lol.
