Post by roadrunner-r »

Hoes is the ride with springs with oem 17" wheels? Also how much of drop do they give you?I know there are rated a 1.8 front and 2.1 rear,my question do they go lower then they claim? What about the struts will they hold up?

I got 18" rims and I LOVE how it looks and feels. I got a 2" drop in front and a little over 2" in the rear with my sportlines. Some people that have riden in my car don't like the stiffer ride. But that was on very poor roads and the 18's don't help either. On a newly paved highway it's a very smooth ride. IMO, it's better to look good. Some advice though, you have to be VERY aware of the incline of driveways your entering after you install the Sport springs. My girl took my car to pick the kids up from Sunday school this past weekend and wasn't thinking when she pulled into the parking lot and scrapped the underside of the front bumper. Always enter at an angle, never straight on.

It's not as bad as I thought it would be. But some people that have riden in my car say it's too stiff (they happend to be older too). Comfortwise, I would not go any lower with my 18s". I think the Eibach sport springs are the perfect balance for performance and style.

It's an even drop all around. The installation was not that difficult either. Took myself, my brother, and father about 2 hours in the hot sun.
