My GT stickered for $22,600. I got Monotone, Moon & Tunes, Power, Safety, Security, 6 disc changer, cargo nets, cargo mat, rear bumper protector and exhaust tip. I didn't pay nearly that much after it was said and done, but that is what it stickered for.

2003 Vibe GT Dual-tone- 17" Wheels- NAV system- Security System- Power packageGot the power package discount, 1,500 off from the dealer.I think sticker was 22,800? Got $500 on the trade-in, $400 from the GM "Recent Grads" program. another $400 because my trade-in was a ford (something to do with the 24 hour try-before-you-buy), 1500 downpayment... I think it ended up being $21,700 financed at 0% over 60 months. $373 a month with the warranty and such. Not bad considering i'm going to try to keep this car the 10 years I had my Probe (a car I sorely miss).So.. $21 something overall, including tax and such.
2003 Vibe GT Lava"He inched his way up the corridor as if he would rather be yarding his way down it.""For a moment, nothing happened. Then, after a second or so, nothing continued to happen." - Douglas Adams...we all miss you
My sticker was around $22,500. Abyss GT, Moons&Tunes, 6-speed, Power, side airbags, cargo organizer, seatback storage, two-tone, 6 disc changer, exhaust tip. I ended up paying $21,300 (which came to about $500 over "dealer invoice" per edmunds). I really wanted the car and it was almost exactly what I wanted (just not my first choice of color), so I probably paid more than I could have. I also got a 5-year, 0% financing with no money down plus they paid off my trade, where I was about $1800 upside down. Total financed was close to $25,000 - or $419 per month. I got gap insurance so that if it gets totalled, the insurance will pay the difference in the payoff vs loan balance.Did I pay too much, probably. Could I have negotiated more: probably. Should I have waited until my other car was paid off: maybe. But I love my car and would buy it again at the exact same price. There is a value in getting exactly (well, almost) what you are looking for.
I have a loaded neptune GT with everything but the navigational package. it was $28 500 and out the door price was $32 000.Almost baught a Loaded Lava Gt with everything including the appearance package. Only thing missing was the sun roof. the dealership was going to give it to us for the same price becuase the car was brought up for a show and they wanted rid of it.Had i known then what I know now, would have gone with the Lava and lived without the roof.
Aside from jimincalif who got an almost unbelievable deal, everyone else paid at least $21K for their Vibe and most over $22K. I paid just under $18K for mine and if I add the $3K S/C I'll still be under what most of you paid for your GT's. I guess that shoots down the theory that a base with a S/C is more than a GT.
2003 Satellite moon and tunes, side airbags, 6 disc CD, mono color - listed at just over 22K. Car was used as part of dealer 24 hour demo drive thing - had just under 3K miles when picked up (never registered). With 2K rebate final price 17,250 - w/o tax&licPS - new user - fun site - thanks
I think that I actually got a great deal also. Mine was $14k, out the door with taxes. Sticker was $19800. It is a base, power, ABS, side airbags, aluminum wheels. (It did have 4200 miles from GM PEP program.)
Yes I was on Monday and Tuesday. I was in Troy and Pontiac. I discovered it was better to come across 26 mile rd. Were you in the truck or Vibe? I would say that I saw 30+ Vibes a day when I was going that way.
[QUOTE]Aside from jimincalif who got an almost unbelievable deal, Just to add a bit more information, my Vibe was used in the 24 test drive, it had 230 miles on it when I bought it. That helped in the negotiating. For whatever reasons, the GTs aren't/weren't selling here in SoCal (I think Pontiac figures it is Toyota territory so they don't bother, I've NEVER seen a Vibe TV ad here, first learned of the Vibe in the Wall Street Journal.) This car was sitting at the dealer for months. That also helped in the negotiation. As I recall, there was a white GT at another dealer at the time being advertised as a loss leader for 14,990. If I'd bought that one with my GM Card rebate my net price would have been $11,490. But I don't care for white and I wanted power (20 yrs ago I bought an 83 Mazda 626 4 door w/o power locks, never again.)

I paid 22,273.8 with tax, title and gap insurance included. (tax here is 7.75%). It was just under 20k before everything. I got supplier pricing and didn't trade in a car, but I also got 0% for 60 so my payment is 371 and some change.
quote:There are, however, several items you did not get with the base. Like a 6-speed and leather wrapped steering wheel.Yes, I know but if I got a 5-speed instead of an auto I would have paid even less. Plus, that leather wheel and shifter don't make it ant faster. You forgot all about the rear disc brakes.

Wow a lot of disparity between prices for buyers. I factory ordered mine with all options minus navigation and 17" wheels because of moons and tunes. I offered $100 over invoice with 0 down and 0 interest for 60 months. Total was $21,300 plus tax and license in Oct. 02. Payments are $396
Sticker on my GT was $21,795. I got it for $19,400 with my GM discount. After that there were about $2,000 in rebates at the time. Of course then you gotta add tax, title, etc. But basically before all of the rebates, trade in, payoff on the trade in, etc....the price on my GT was $19,400. My payment for 72 months is $441 per month. I had a TON of negative equity in my Focus that I traded in. I owed well over $8,000 on it but could only get $3,500 in trade (which was right in line with KBB at the time).Jim

The reason I was given for the two options not being offered together was that they said with the 17" wheels and high performance tires, there as a chance you could crack the moonroof if you cornered too hard. Any truth to that you know of? If it is true, I wonder why they lifted that restriction for the 04's.

We never got a confirmed answer but that may be the reason. The 2004 17" tires are different from the ones used in 2003. The 2003 17" tires were summer-only while the 2004 17" tires are all season.

I found my 2003 GT "Used" on the lot with 220 miles on it. Sticker price was 16,000. After trade in it was down to 14,000, but i went with the extended warrenty bringing it up to 14,600.My vibe has the in dash 6 disk, power package and 17" rims

THe MSRP on my GT was $21,470. I got Moon and Tunes, Power package, and Monotone. After GM employee discount, rebate, credit card, bonus cash, and trade-in, I financed $11,244 including tax and tags. That's with no money out of my pocket. I also just refinanced my car loan thru my credit union and lowered my payment by about $25 a month.
