I dont know if my underbody kit would be alright during the winter...the front and rear bars are high off the ground so they will be fine, but the sides are attatched tothe bottom of the chassis. So what are your opinions??A guy across the street has reds for his dakota I may ask him.
You're kidding me, right? Do Cavaliers, Corollas, Corvettes, etc drive around in the winter where you live? Well the Vibe has alot more ground clearance than those.
ummm okay!! i was pondering the same.that why i was thiing coilovers so i could raise it up in winter. in response to nova, i personally have seen corvettes and the like in winter spining tires like madmen. but what bothers me is that corvettes bodies are that low not just cheap pastic glued on overhang. im just worried the body kit will become a very expensive and possibly broken snow shovel. i took my vibe thru a feet of snow before.(spinning tires like madmen) but if i had a drop and bodykit i wouldnt dare . and im not even in michigan.but we still get our share of great lakes effect snow.
look my sniggies, i had a strizz-oke in my brizz-ain okay, you know what im saying. so i cant move all good. but thanks for mentioning that .thank you very much.athf4evr. click here! you know you want to!!!
(removed), definately, I dont have a body kit the neon light sundder the car is what Im talking about...but my car compared to other Vibe owners, seems like mine is lower I dunno if its just miss-perception but, also, the bulbs are a little more delicate than the steel chassis of a Vette. I'm thinking if a random ice chunk pops up and shatters the tube...But I think they are made to withstand that to a certain degree.

Ok, guys thanks, I think Ill do that...though it took 5 hours to get in there (removed)...but sinse the holes are already drilled it shouldnt take 3/4 of that next season
quote:...but my car compared to other Vibe owners, seems like mine is lower I dunno if its just miss-perception.I highly doubt your Vibe is any lower then any of the other Vibes out there, unless somehow your stock shocks became broken.I would recommend taking the side ones off if those are only the ones you are worried about. From the sound of it, the front and rears are a little more protected.
Yes, you are right, I was lookin at it today and it doesn't....But yea thats a good Idea maybe I will just take off the side ones...One of the screws holding on the brackets in the back snapped in half so I may be taking the back one off too Anyways, thanks for your thoughts.
