I believe the caps were around 122.00. My ride is pretty nice. It's getting better. Unfortunately after I get my caps on and the spoiler on the top that will probably be pretty close to the end of any modifying I do to this car. I have to start saving those pennies, got a baby on the way. The cap is more of a cosmetic cover and bulk water stoppage, the entire roof rail is made to drain, the rest of the rubber rail is just sitting in the grove. Kinda something you have to see.
They did have locktite on the bolts holding the main rack hardware, but there was nothing else special

The rail under the rubber and coverings drains bulk water, and there is another drain underneath inside the car from the bolt mounts.

The pics give you an idea. I did mine the cheap way without the brackets to hold the clips and used some black window sealant to keep the clips on.
The bolt hole is not welded to the car, there is a large plastic nut on the inside through a hole in the frame. Minor water leakage drains from there, but in generally water shouldn't make it in there.
