My Vibe is officially 18 months old with no wiper blade problems (still original). What type of temperatures have you been through with your Vibe? I'm not sure the range of temps in your location. I've been through one winter and a whole summer of rain and they appear to be holding up well. You may be interested in some replacements.. here are some suggestions:http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id ... ad?id=2555
Mine are not the greatest either. They have never really cleaned like they should since I bought it. They aren't any worse now than when I picked it up 9 months ago, but I am thinking about replacing them.

Alrighty - stuff I've gotten from this thread so far:1 - Bosch blades are good replacements,2 - RainX is worth looking into.So my questions:1 - Anyone know a source for the Bosch blades in Canada? Or do I just go looking around here.....2 - Rear Wipers Blade It's an 11" blade. Has ANYONE found a good replacement for it? My rear really sucks, so it needs replacing anyway, and I'd like to find real, sealed winter blades if possible seeing as the cold is starting to set in.

My blades have sucked since the day I got my car 8 months ago. It only got worse after I got that huge stone chip in my windshield and had to have it filled...so now they leave a curve right through my line of sight from the chip. I guess I should get new ones, but I don't have a lot of hope for the situation anyway, so I have not done anything about it.
I find that if there is a good coat of Rain-X on the windshield, it helps keep bugs from sticking. If they do, I find if I do a windshield wash it helps clean it off.Make sure when rain-x-ing you do 2-3 good coats, every month or so. I find it's great for keeping the glass clear of debris...
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
I agree, Rain-X helps prevent everything from sticking. Bugs, bird crap, tree sap, frost, whatever. Plus, because Rain-X keeps the windshield smooth and clean, it doesn't wear out the wipers as quick. That could be why my wipers have lasted and not given me the problems others are experiencing. Rain-X is great.
Yes, they even have a concentrate to add to regular fluid. However, don't substitute that for the real stuff. The washer fluid is really just to prolong the life, not to be the actual coating.
