That's crazy. However, the I believe the recall is for a bolt that hold the window in. I would expect the window would only break if you were opening/closing it or hit a bump. Have you pulled the door card off, yet and tried to take a look? I would check to see if the bolt they replaced sheared (I doubt it) or came loose allowing the window to fall while you were gone.
Otherwise, you gotta figure something hit the window. Normal temperature changes just aren't going to do it. Check around ground and in the car. Did most of the glass fall into the car or out or equally? Are there any large sticks or rocks or other heavy items laying round in our out of the car that could've been used to break it? This doesn't necessarily mean it was a human, either. Every Spring, we have major issues with birds attacking themselves in our windows but mostly side view mirrors. These are generally smaller birds, ie; cardinals and the like and don't usually pose an actual problem other than bit spit and (removed) on everything.

Anyway, just a thought.
Personally, I'd be tempted to take these steps if there wasn't any obvious vandalism involved.
1. Remove door card/panel and double check recall work performed.
2. If it was a recall work error, their problem; which means your problem solved. OR if it looks good -
3. Screw with the window bolt so it looks like their problem and take it in after putting it back together. Some may find a moral issue with this last one but for me and the amount damage and complete lack or respect for my interior after having my recalls performed would allow me a completely clear conscious.
