2004 Matrix XR Stereo Question.

I am not a member of any Matrix forums but I'll join one later.

I myself have a 2008 Base Vibe and love it, last night I helped the girlfriend buy a 2004 Matrix XR.

It's basically the exact same thing, but does anyone know these vehicles very well? I put in an aftermarket single DIN on my Vibe and I needed the GM Antenna adapter (I didn't know before pulling my dash apart and oooooo boy was that adapter expensive at my local car mart).

Will I need this antenna for the Matrix, too? Sorry for the slightly off topic question.

The 04 Vibe and Matrix radios are the same, and they use the tiny antenna connector

The only difference is the Vibe one needs a GM harness for some reason.
