hello from Northern michigan

Post by Nathankenney94 »

Hello I am just stopping by to say hi I bought a 2005 neptune blue vibe for 2100 bucks with 193k on it. I love it have already deep cleaned it added a few leds under the hood bought paint to redo the wheels and pulled the carpet to wash it. One question though it has black leather seats that are stiched with hot wheels logo and was wondering if that was a special edition or something?

Hello and welcome Northern Michigan. I'm from Mid Michigan and have a Neptune 2005 with a manual transmission. They are impressive vehicles. If you don't like your car's performance in snow, consider winter tires or changing wheel size. I switched my base wheels and tires to narrower tires and reduced rim diameter 195/65R-15's for improved winter driving. A side benefit was a more pleasant ride and the tires are lower price.

I seriously doubt that. You can buy seat covers with just about any logo embroidered on them. Just from the picture I think you have leatherette seat covers. I am quite sure you can pull them off and find the original cloth underneath.

Okay I found out the seats where Re done with a kit similar to katzkin. Also finished two of the wheels will get some pictures tmrw. Also cleaned the throttle body and definitely smoother idle.
