ac install

Post by martinez2455 »

I have a 09 vibe and it has no ac installed. Does anyone else have this problem? If so did you install one yourself or did you take it to a dealer?

That would be a huge job, the best way would be to get 2009 vibe or possibly matrix with ac and swap all parts needed even then we are talking about wiring that most likely does not exist in your car, not sure if ECU would have to be changed also or reprogrammed, evaporator that is under the dash next to heater core, condenser in front of your radiator, ac compressor, different belt, pluming. If you live in Florida you will need one, i know. Sorry

Agreed ! Way too much work to convert it. Besides we have no idea where in the "world" you live. Take it up to a northern territory and trade up with a Vibe that has factory A/c with someone who will never use A/C. Problem solved!
