I am going for a job interview for a vacancy with the "President's Own" Marine Band. It is my biggest DREAM job and would feel like I won the lottery if I am offered a position...so .. wish me luck... I need all the good "Vibes" I can get..

So I would be dischraged fully from the Army to join the Marines. There are Many Army And Marine Bands but the President's Own is considered a special assignment and is very difficult to get it. The Army has the Pershing's Own, The US Army Band and The US Military Academy Band. I wasn't offered a position unfortunately... It was a tough competition which had over 50 applicants for the job.. SHEESH... Thanks for asking.. I will keep my eyes open and certainly will keep trying but I am lucky and blessed to be a military musician.

Sorry it didn't work out. Still, you must be pretty good since they let you try out for the position.
