Cannot put in gas

2006 Vibe owned since new. 280,000 km. Recently put in new clutch following instructions posted on this forum
Runs well.
Suddenly will not accept gas into tank when re fueling.
Keeps kicking off the nozzle even if I try other pumps.
Shop manual does not address this issue but does mention a ORVR valve on evap canister.
On-board Refueling Vapor Recovery which sound like it could be the problem as I suspect all air displaced when gas flows in exits through evap canister.
The canister and this valve are under the vehicle ahead of rear axle so I am wondering if it could be frozen up.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Wouldn't expect the clutch replacement could affect the fuel filling, Was this the first fill up after the clutch replacement?

Any chance for a warm spell of weather or being able to park in a warm place for a while, to checkout the frozen up possibilitiy?
