2004 Vibe Lift Gate Support VS Matrix Lift Gate...

Please tell me if the 2004 Vibe Lift Gate Support is the same as the 2004 Matrix Lift Gate Support. I have to replace the lift gate supports on my 2004 Vibe and the 2004 Martix lift gate supports are much cheaper to buy. Thanks for your help. Drive safe my friends.
