Hazard Lights Switch

Post by pilarskica »

Someone was kind enough to remove the radio out of my vibe and in the process ripped out the hazard button. Does anyone know how to wire it back up? It has four wires and I do not know how they need to go back into the switch. Thanks.

a couple of weeks ago you posted that your 2010 got stolen, Did you get it back (minus the radio) ?

I don't have any wiring diagrams of the 2010's

Somebody here should be able to look at their 2010 and report which color wires go where on the hazard switch

I own the three volume (2009-10) set and can supply the wiring diagram if you still need it. Let me know.

I did just get my 2010 stolen and, yes they did take the radio. To do it they removed the center trim and took the hazard button with it.

I would still like the diagram or at least know which colors go left to right because I can't get it inspected without the hazards button working.

Thanks for all your help.

I'll send you the wiring diagram tomorrow (Friday) night. Glad to help a fellow GenViber out!

As promised, here are a couple snapshots of the pages showing the hazzard switch & wiring:

Adding to the photos is information for pins 3 & 4 which were on top of the next page.

Pin 3 ........ 0.35, D-GN = Instrument panel dimming voltage
Pin 4 .........0.35, BG = Hazzard switch signal

Hope this helps. Good luck ;)
