Does anyone happen to have access to service information for a 98 Grand Am?I bought my dad a cassette/CD combo unit from a local Matrix owner and want to put it in his GA, but don't know how to remove the dash...Thanks in advance for the help!

I'm sure Mitro or ilquikgtx could help you.

If its the dash that i think it is, then there are 2 screws on the top of the trim above the intrument pannel, then like all other gm's, its held on by metal pop pins, dont know what they are, but it pulls off. Be carefull with it, b/c the trim around the radio connects with the trim for the intrument pannel. If you pull too hard you'll break the thin area where they meet

Unfortunately, the 98 GA uses a smaller head unit than the Vibe/Matrix. About an inch smaller (height). So the Matrix radio didn't fit.If anyone is interested in buying it, I'm selling it. See this link: http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=6266
