Did anyone ever install a stereo system different than the ones offered by the dealer?I'm wondering if I can install a Sony or Kenwood system that plays CD/MP3s, but I'm worried about the size. The Vibe deck seems much bigger than the systems I see in the stores.Another note: doesn't make sense that Pontiac won't offer the CD/Cassette stereo when the Matrix does. UUGGGHH
You may want to check in the Audio & Electronics forum. There is a discussion right now about the size of the deck that will fit in the Vibe. Go to this link: http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=5544 As far as the cassette/CD deck goes, maybe they aren't offering it because cassettes are so rarely used anymore. Not sure though.

As for the size of the Pontiac CD player being bigger compared to others- There are dash kits that will make the Recievers in the store fit the Vibe- It may not look as nice though
