Used last Oil CHange Club Couon from 2004

Back in 2004 when I had a 2003 Vibe I bought a 10 Oil Change Club card from my dealer - remember it was less than $100 (89.90 or 99.90)
Due to my only driving the Vibe 6,000 miles a year, some free oil change coupons from GM etc. and going elsewhere sometimes when there was a LOF/tire rotation deal I just now for my 2009 used the last of those 10 coupons. The Oil Change Club is now 5 for $94.95 (no added shop charges either). For 4 months after each change you get roadside assistance benefits, emergency rental car coverage and road hazard tire protection included. I think this is the "Drive Sure" program through KREX. They add Krex as part of the service each time. I am not sure the Krex is necessary but no doubt does no harm. With my new tire purchase last year I get free rotations from Discount Tire so will surely buy this 5 oil change card.

Not a bad deal! Our former Pontiac dealer has sent me several $9.95 and a few free oil change coupons over the years. I had my wife take her Equinox to them for the last oil change since they are close by the house. I expected to pay the standard $39.95 price for the Dexos oil change and tire rotation and maybe get a $10 mail in rebate, but to my surprise they gave her their best coupon sale rate of $19.95 for the service. I was very pleased that they did that without us even asking if there were any sales. One way to keep a customer happy!
