Panel part numbers/general help

Post by Dopecracka »

Hey fellow Vibers. I bought a Vibe a couple months back and the longer I've had it, the more parts that I've noticed it's missing. In particular there are some panels I would like to get but I'm not certain the part number of what even the part would be called. It should be mentioned that the previous owner had some front end damage and overall did a good job repairing it, but still some things are missing. The first piece is the plastic panel that covers the passenger side of the engine, around the rod that props the hood. Also the hood prop is loose and not held in by anything, so is that also part of the plastic panel? The second part is the battery tray. Mine seems to be loose and the rod that holds the battery in place is broken. Any suggestions? And the last piece is in the passenger rear wheel well which covers what I believe is the brake line. Any help would be much appreciated. And It will be my first time trying to post pictures so if I do this wrong, forgive me.
Thanks for reading!

Have you tried finding a similar car at a local salvage yard? Just go and take whatever you want.

Awesome! Thanks so much for your help. As for the back part. The piece is a panel that covers up some of the wires that go to the back wheels. It's toward the front of the wheel well. I would post a picture of the other one, but don't have my car right now.

Well, I can't find the part numbers for them. My car is lowered so I can't really access those rear shields without pulling a wheel off or at least jacking her up. If you can, pull the one you've got off and look for part numbers on it, then use the numbers I linked earlier as templates to see if you can manually look it up by changing digit values (digit in position five, digit in position four after the dash). I may try looking for them later using corolla, voltz, and vibe diagrams on various parts sites.

Well I never updated here, but I was able to find the parts I was looking for. I was able to get the battery parts at a junkyard and the part I was referring to inside the wheel well is just called "Protector, Quarter Panel".
