quote:Very nice! Where did you buy that and how much?I'm won't give you all my tricks!! J/kOk, I'll tell you but do not laugh. I bought it at Canadian Tire and it was around $10.It is not really a sticker, as it does not have glue. It just hold by static, like the oil change sticker put by the dealer to remember you when doing the next one. So it let you the chance to take many attempts before installing it properly.
I know that type of sticker.I had one on my cavalier.I think it looks very good.Maybe I buy one too! Do you have a closer picture, around the inside mirror?I just want to see how noticable the black dots are, arround the mirror. Thanks!

Now you confused me.I can see it is on the outside of the glass. On my cavalier i had to put it on to the inside of the windshield. The instruction sad, that you have to install it that way?

I put it outside of the windshield. To be honnest, I don't know what the instruction said, I haven't read it. Installing it inside will avoid thief to stole it, but it won't look very good with the little dot. Also I though about the wind, but it hold very very well on the glass. And for $6,49 (I checked my invoive), it won't be a big lost if someone stole it. And I doubt the thief will be able to intall it on another car cause the platic will stretch and will be deformed.

Installing it inside will avoid thief to stole it, but it won't look very good with the little dot.You see, that's why I did ask, because of the black dots. And sorry to say that, but I'm pretty sure it goes to the inside. That is why it dosen't have any glue on it.Do you remember which side of the sticker had a film or paper what you had to peel off?

So my windshield remplaced the protective paper.
I could be wrong too. It looks very well stick to the windshield the way I install it, I doubt it will fall by itself. They only way I figure out to lost, it is have someone pulling it.
You're gonna want to find some glue of something to get it to stick to the windshield. I had one I got at Pepboys, and in fell off while I was driving today. Granted it was raining... but it started peeling off and the wind caught it and... bammo gone like Nsync track 6. Good luck, if it's like mine, it's meant to go inside, but we have that nifty stuff on our windsheild, so it would get in the way!
quote:Sweet! I like that...so let me get this straight it was $10 and it is a window cling? I paid it $6,49 to be exact and I stick iy righ on hte upper part of the windshield.I don't know if it will leat a long time, but when I install it, I had to remove it several time to remove all the bubble and to fit it perfectly to the windshield curve, and it seems to stick very well. And after I scraped it with a credit card to remove all the bubble and to stick it all the way to the window. I doubt it will fall soon. But is remain a cheap Canadian Tire thing, so we cannot expect too much from it.
You were wright DisneyDJ.I lost my sticker in the hightway.I was rainning, the wipre blade was hiting it and all of a suddent it just peeled off. This king of stuff is realy disagned to be inside the car, not outside. Now I'm thinking getting a real sticker, as we cannot put it in the inside.
quote:OK!here is the lesson I have learned today......don't buy ANYTHING from Canadian Tire!! Sorry to hear about your loss Ben...No, the lesson is: read the instruction before installing something!!!If it were installed inside, it had never failed.
